Our AirB&B host Tammy HIGHLY recommended that we stop at Big Daddy's at least once while in town. On a day where it was 26 degrees, there's nothing like a scratch-made Chicken Noodle soup to warm the soul...and a big-as-your-face Chicken Fried Steak to feed it! The service here was very, very good (not super great as they had some... More

It was 37F the day we visited Cloudcroft - 22F colder than where we started. Something about cold weather makes us ravenous. We stopped at the diner - on the main road on the east side of town - for lunch. We ordered the hatch chili and the mushroom burgers. They were huge and so good. Definitely worth the stop.

Went for dinner and returned the next morning for breakfast. Being from the Phila-NY area can be a little bit of a food snob. Did not expect such good food in a little mountain town, but it was excellent. Corn fritters were crazy good. Catfish was crispy, not greasy, and really good.. My friend and I really enjoyed our meals.... More

This restaurant was suggested to us by the people that owned the B & B that we stayed in. It is located on the outskirts of town where the road is dark at night. The portions were ample and fairly priced. We enjoyed the chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes and chili dog. And what small world-our waitress was from a... More

Went on Friday night and had grief catfish! Was totally awesome. Quaint little place with lots of pictures and neat stuff to look at. Including some signed guitars. Saw plates of chicken fried steak being taken to other tables that looked so so good. Will have to go back for that

I ordered the cat fish dinner and was curious as to why all you can eat was only two dollars more than the regular dinner. I got two full large fillets as well as two sides for thirteen dollars. The food was excellent and the service was very fast. We will be back.

Nice little diner on the edge of Cloudcroft. Great sandwich. The Pig, a pulled pork & BBQ with mustard potato salad. My wife talked me out of a second. Great selection and prices. Service was excellent. Will go back and recommend.
