We came for the lamb that my husband said was wonderful but oh my goodness, the sopapillas! After I finished my terrific combination plate, I grabbed the honey and poured it into this huge, light, puff sopapilla. This is a sopapilla like I was first introduced to in New Orleans 40+ years ago. If we were local, we would visit... More

Wow! Great food. Ample portions. Wonderful lamb dishes at a reasonable price. Best sopapillas we ever ate! Only down side was that tables and chairs were sticky from all the honey everyone applied to their sopapillas.

Four of us ate dinner at Angelina's a couple of weeks ago. The menu choices were plentiful and the food was quite good. This is one of the few restaurants where you can order several lamb dishes. The lamb fajitas are great. We have been there a couple of times recently and all of the entrees that we ordered were... More

Their lamb dishes are my personal favorite. Burritos are great as well. I ordered dessert last time I went and was very satisfied. Service can be a little bit slow. Sometimes I will call and order on my way to Taos from Albuquerque. The inside of the restaurant isn't anything fancy. But you will be in heaven with the food!... More

Try the lamb ribs. Service is a little shaky. It might have been an day. Prices were reasonable and the food was unique to Northern New Mexico. Go with an open mind.

Superb home New Mexican home cooking! Tried "chicos" maize and garbanzos in pork broth! Delicious with "Christmas" duo of red and green chilies- totally different use from South East Asian style! After all this is the American Southwest! My friend had the combo platter- tacos, burrito and he ate the whole enchilada too! Best refried beans- well, truly home style... More

The staff was great. The atmosphere was fine. But this is supposed to be very authentic Northern New Mexican cuisine, and it tasted like it all came out of can. The four of us were not pleased and did not bother taking home doggy bags.

Chicken flautas were awesome, hubby loved the posole with red chile. The home-made green chile was too hot for my low-tolerance palate but that's pretty much expected with me. The sopaipillas can't be beat.

Delicious! Wish it was closer to Taos. Had to go to Espanola and stop at Angelina for breakfast. Food was excellent. Service great, our waitress offered suggestions and we were not disappointed.
