I've been to Japan and eat Japanese regularly so I'm a bit jaded. Things were close but not up to snuff. Miso was old and served almost cold. Tempura was heavily battered and was oily and the gyoza was not house made and served crispy. I wasn't about to eat raw fish on my first trip to a place this... More

We were expecting much better given the good reviews, however our experience wasn't good. The sushi wasn't fresh and the rolls wouldn't stick together. The hibachi chicken was rubbery and the steak undercooked. It was also missing flavor. The Singapore curry was a good size portion, however the chicken was also undercooked. The prices were higher than other Japanese restaurants... More

This little place is great for dining in, to go orders and delivery! Service is always fast and the food tasty. My favorite is the orange chicken or grilled chicken and rice. My friends love the sushi so there is a little something for everyone.

Always a pleasing meal for us, with family or friends. The atmosphere is gentle, quiet, as Mikasa is a small restaurant which is usually full of families and friends chatting. Our guests who visit this restaurant always have a favorable report. Mikasa however does not serve alcohol if you are looking for a glass of wine to accompany you meal.

A bit on the high side of sushi prices. Fish is fresh, never had a problem with getting orders wrong or otherwise messed up. There's a new place in town that I feel is better, but this place is the best down town.

Mikasa is awesome simply put. They have a great roll menu and a wide menu other than rolls. The hibachi items are great but we normally just go for rolls. They always taste fresh and normally arrive quickly. Service is great as well. Don't forget to see what the special roll of they day is.

Always great service and good food for the value. I've never had a disappointing meal here. Love the wasabi colored wall, too! So great!

The sushi was fantastic and tasted very fresh. However, the hibachi was only average, which was disappointing. I would definitely go back for sushi though.

They have good food, soso price, but not worth being treated so rude. I felt it was a burden on them for my being there.
