when I go to earls, there is a friendly warm atmosphere. For breakfast I love getting the #2 special (eggs and sausage) or the breakfast burrito. You cant go wrong with either one

I have been here several times traveling through Gallup. They never have disappointed the portions are large a large variety of food and Southwest flair. Vendors walk around selling their beautiful hand made Indian jewelry and other items.

We had a Taco Nacho and smothered steak burrito. OMG SO GOOD. The portions were so large we ate the rest for another meal.

We were staying overnight in Gallup and had read a billboard along the highway telling about Earl's. After we checked into our motel it was time for dinner. We were welcomed as soon as we walked in. Our waiter, Will, was very prompt and our dinner selection was liver and onions and roast beef. It was so delicious and their... More

Earl's is a diner with an extensive menu. Very family friendly, no alcohol, food is casual but good. A lot of locals eat here. The best part is that Earl's allows native americans to sell their crafts table to table. You can just wave them away if you don't want to be bothered, but we loved looking at the wares.... More

I had the Navaho tacos and when they say enough for 2, they mean it. It was excellent! It's fun to have Native Americans coming around. If you shake your head no, they just move on. This is a fun restaurant and a Gallup landmark. Highly recommend!

We arrived in Gallup last for lunch. I had researched restaurants open for lunch on Sunday. After driving by the first two we picked online, we decided to try Earl's as there were many cars parked there. Even with the large crowd, we were promptly seated and greeted. The courteous and friendly staff had us served in short order. Yes,... More

There aren't any mid to upscale dining places in Gallup, but there's got to be something better than this. We stopped for lunch. You have to navigate through several folks selling jewelry to get in the front door. After sitting down, the jewelry vendors come inside and stop at your table . . . really, while we're trying to order... More

Earls has been a staple in Gallup N.M. for years and is a favorite of many friends. That being said I personally think it is average food at an average price. If you hope to have a pleasant conversation with your meal be prepared for almost constant vendors approaching with jewelry or fetishes for sale. They are not annoying but... More

We had this listed in a guide book of traditional/ historic places to eat, so far they have been very good. This one was less so. Server could not seem to understand us, brought me some kind of french onion soup with two huge pieces of carrot in it, rather than clam chowder. Salad bar had some odd items, most... More
