This restaurant is very close to hotels on I-10. Avoid it and take the extra driving time to go to a good restaurant. It was very disappointing. I went by trip advisor reviews. The tamale was so dry it wouldn't come out of the corn husk. They brought another one and it came out but it was dry with no... More

Being a Texas girl I grew up on Tex-Mex, but I'm in New Mexico tonight and decided to eat at s local eatery, Chilitos. I may never go back to what I call ordinary TeX-Mex. I went away from the usual enchiladas and taco and chose the I Sopapilla Compasrio(I think that was the name of it) with no the... More

My kids were in from Ohio and Pennsylvania to see their grandmother, and they needed a good New Mexico Mexican food fix...where else do you go where they know what a real chile relleno is and they don't think sopapillas are like scones and enchiladas are flat...excellent as usual...so much better than what I experienced in AZ and our own... Stayed at Holiday Inn Exp. and asked for a good Mexican rest. They said go next door. It was exceptionally good. Had the #3--enchilada,chile relleno, beef taco with RED sauce (spicy) came with rice and beans. Excellent. Beans good too.Wife had chicken tacos and like them too. Negro Modelo on draft.

Convenient location, friendly staff, reasonable prices. Authentic New Mexican food. American food is also served. Good selection of beers at reasonable prices. They also have wine margaritas. A favorite spot for locals.

I like this place. Its solid NM Mexican food, and you cant go wrong be eating here. Atmosphere could be nicer, but it doesnt bother me, so I continue to go when I can. Food is great, prices are fair.

Last week I ordered - for the first and last time - an order from Chilitos. After waiting an hour I called back to find out what happened to my order. Person that answered said the person delivering said I was not at the hotel and was "too busy to come down to pick up order at front desk." A... More

I have tried the gordita Plate with rice and beans at different restaurants, usually the gorditas fall apart and have to scoop the remains sith a fork. Gorditas at chilitos were nice and stout and held together. Best Gorditas I've had so far. Service was excellent.

Not the best I've had but definitely up there. I really liked the way the fajitas were served and there was a very enjoyable and unique spice blend on it. I woukd definitely go again.

An excellent place for breakfast. A large restaurant, quick and efficient service and a "seniors" menu for those of us who are quantitiy challenged. We usually get the Huevos Rancheros (Chrismas). Both of their sauces are freshly made and excellent. The heat of the green varies from day to day. This review is about the Valley location. We have also... More
