We stayed one night here as we were passing through and it was a great experience. The room was very comfortable and the hosts are very friendly and helpful. We had an excellent breakfast and got good advice on sites to see and restaurants to...More

Thank you Bob for taking the time to give us the good review. We enjoyed having you and your wife. We enjoy visiting with our guests and telling them the history of Lincoln and The Dolan House. We hope you will stay with us again.

The home is rich in history and couture. The hospitality felt rushed and the food was overpriced for small portions. We felt more like we were intruding than enjoying a lunch. Bad start to a long drive of history. We were starving and came across...More

I must say I am very surprised at your comments. We try very hard to accommodate our customers and treat them with the utmost hospitality. I do not know what day you were here, however, if we are extremely busy we do not have the...More

We had a pleasant lunch at this historic home, which is also a B&B. There were only three menu choices - chicken salad sandwich, chili with cornbread, or pulled pork sandwich. We got the pulled pork, which was served with small cups of coleslaw and...More

We had a sandwich , a bag of chips , and a drink all organised by our tour guide as there are very few places to eat in Lincoln . The food was ok but much to pricey . Take a packed lunch if you...More

I am sorry that you were disappointed with the cost of your lunch. Lincoln is in a remote area - cost of food is higher, cost of labor is high. You were able to eat in a very historic home built in 1883 built by...More

Food was pretty good, a bit tight on spacing though. But all in all it was a pretty cool place to grab a bite.

We loved our lunch at the interesting Dolan House. It's really worth a stop to see the place and try their delicious lunches. Their bread pudding is absolutely "to die for" -- about the best we've ever had! We also loved their chicken salad sandwich...More

We went to Lincoln because we were in the area and heard there was a festival here. Although the festival itself wasn't worth the trip (very very small) it was cool to walk around town. Husband always watches the movies about the Lincoln County War,...More

Description
Built in 1883, The Dolan House is nestled in the beautiful Rio Bonito Valley in the famous town of Lincoln, New Mexico - brought to fame by the Lincoln County War and Billy the Kid, who roamed the surrounding area and broke out of the near by jail. In 2007 we purchased and renovated this historical house making a small restaurant serving home made American and Mexican food and lots of home made desserts. We also have a gift shop selling antiques, jewelry, leather goods, souvenirs, specialty teas and snacks. We are open for breakfast and lunch.
