When they saw the outside, my hungry teen girls were asking to wait another 100 miles for lunch. I reconnoitered and convinced then to give it a try. Holy mother of authentic Mexican food! Not only was virtually every bit devoured, seconds were ordered (and thirds would have been if I had realized how quick my Chile Reno was going... More

I have lived in Lordsburg for six years now, and have been to El Charro multiple times. The Charro offers a variety of Mexican and American food. I especially like the Chili Con Queso steak. If you are on the road and needing a place to grab a beer or mixed drink, the Charro is the only restaurant in Lordsburg... More

If you're on the road and hungry, you can feel ok about grabbing a bite here. The only thing truly special is the welcoming staff. The food is edible.

Had a delicious filling lunch and I only ate half of it. We split a meal and were stuffed: a tostada, taco, enchilada, chile relano, and a tamale with salad rice and beans. It was only ten bucks, the place was nothing fancy, they put the effort into the food.

We were hoping to find a Mexican restaurant and we did! The food was delicious! Staff was very nice and welcoming. Priced right too!

Not to bad...could use a little updating on the outside but. The place has been around for a long long time. That should say it all. 13 green.

Quiet place, across teh tracks,. Food was good, service was average, but friendly. Not too many places left in Lordsburg to eat, this was good.

Great service and is true New Mexico . Had Taco plate and found them very tasty. Salsa nice and warm. Great margaritas. Service is friendly and fast. Prices are very low, but quality is not.

I didn't even want to give it a star at all. We pulled off the road to rest for the night and ate supper here cause everything else was closed . And McDonald's was packed. My husbands food was ok and had flavor . Me and our daughter had chicken and it was nasty had an awful smell to it... More

Stopped on our way cross country in a small town in New Mexico. Was recommended to us by the hotel. Awesome Mexican food. My husband had the tostado plate and raved about it. I had combo taco, enchilada and sm. Burrito. Excellent. Don't let the outside appearance scare you away, food was awesome.
