One of the best breakfasts in the Las Cruces area. Slightly pricey but you definitely get what you pay for. I had the house special and my wife the pecan pancakes. Been there several times before, this was the first breakfast.

This restaurant is okay, and only okay... rather pedestrian... Plenty of parking. Comfortable wooden chairs. Nothing was exceptional.

This is truly a hidden gem in southern New Mexico. Talking parrots & fish greet you as you enter the restaurant, which also has a decent size gift shop inside as well. The decor really sets the mood right & the food is absolutely perfect. This is probably the best mexican restuarant my wife & I have ever visited. If... More

At the heart of Mesilla, a block from the Plaza, great location to eat there and then stroll around the Plaza. Old building, southwestern style, great ambiance and the food is good Mexican fare. Service is decent!

If you're ever in the area, to stay, or just passing through; head South in Las Cruces for a short distance and try the La Posta Mexican Restaurant in Mesilla. It is so delicious and friendly. Downtown Mesilla is worth a stroll if you have the time. Lunch or dinner is just wonderful! If it's dinnertime, the Margaritas are OoLaLa!... More

Dine in our very old adobe stage shop. Best Mexican food in New Mexico. The adobe building is full of charm and quaint beauty. The tile work is everywhere, one display even more of a wonder than the other. The building itself goes on and on - after dinner explore. As you enter, there are fountains, a huge bird cage... More

I've walked by LaPosta several times and skipped it for looking too touristy. Not the case! This. Is a reasonably priced and charming option for a dinner or lunch. We started withe the shrimp ceveche which was exceptional followed by dinner specials which let no room for dessert. The tequila menu is extensive and the service is friendly. We will return on... They offer the widest variety of Margarita's I have ever seen. We had a coconut one where the rim was dipped in honey and toasted coconut. YUM! Dinner was rolled tacos which were fried. The refried beans and rice were done EXACTLY how we like it. They were quite busy on this Friday night but that should not be any... More

What a pleasure to find this architectural gem that also happens to serve up excellent food, ambience and margaritas! I could easily have spent hours absorbing the detail of each of the separate small dining rooms with their Hispanic tiles, little fireplaces, nooks and crannies. It's truly lovely, right down to the blue-tiled ladies room with it's ornate silver-framed mirrors... More

We travel from the east to the west coast each winter. This year we have been under pressure to get to the west earlier so initially this was not on our schedule. When I realized this we rescheduled our trip to include a stop in Las Cruses. We have been here for three years in a year. The House Rita... More
