Went here for breakfast. They threw together my burrito real quickly and it tasted like garbage. They had tomatoes on the menu and refused to put them on my girlfriend's burger. To top that off, the waitress had stuff all over her hands so you...More

Little Anika's has great New Mexican food. It's not fancy, It's not gourmet, but it is reliably good tasting, and affordable.

Food was okay, nothing great. Queso & chips was probably the best thing we ordered. Red chile was tasteless, steak tacos were 'blah.' Probably won't be eating there again.

Thank you for the review, Janelle. We're sorry your visit to Little Anita's was not enjoyable. We really appreciate the feedback and will certainly pass this along to management. We hope you'll give us another chance down the road.

Little Anita's is a chain of New Mexican restaurants featuring traditional New Mexican food. Clearly a basic restaurant, with the ambiance clearly not the main reason patrons eat there. Reasonably clean and fast efficient service. It offers eat in and take out menus, with much...More

Having eaten at the Little Anita's in Oldtown Albuquerque, we decided to try the Little Anita's express in Rio Rancho. There is little comparison. The Express has no atmosphere, and untrained staff and the food was not as good.

Food was very good, especially the Enchiladas Rancheras. Plenty o' food! You won't leave hungry! Thanks for the recommendation Chris! (Chris, our server, was the highlight of the visit!) Still, even after good food and better service, one has to wonder why management decided to...More

Good food, fresh and consistent, dining area seems to need something more, maybe additional more comfortable seating , service is just ok

Had the Cheese Enchilada plate - delicious with green chili. Service is not fast, which is why the 'express' had me confused... maybe because it has a drive thru which is a misnomer as it is a park and wait.... since I was here for...More

Little Anita's does a good job providing solid, properly prepared, tasty New Mexican food. The menu covers all the staple items, burritos, tamales, enchiladas, etc., but there's nothing here that isn't replicated at dozens of other places around ABQ. We like because it's close to...More

We have eaten at the original Little Anita's in old towne ABQ (and it was very good) and decided to try the Little Anita's Express near where we live in Rio Rancho. Upon entering we noticed the nice open and modern feel to the restaurant,...More

Description
For a taste of grandma's cooking and a bit of homemade comfort, come to Little Anita's, which has been serving authentic New Mexican food for over 40 years. Named after the founder's mother, and based on family recipes handed down for generations, Little Anita's is an Albuquerque institution. Our iconic flagship restaurant, in the heart of Old Town, is beloved by locals and a must-visit for any tourist. You haven't been to Albuquerque if you haven't eaten at Little Anita's. Our menu hasn't changed much in the last four decades, and we're proud of it. In a fast-moving world, our restaurants are an oasis of tradition and sentimental cooking. When it comes to our signature dishes, we like to keep things simple. We believe in the purity of our ingredients and keep a clean flavor profile. You won't find your food overloaded with seasoning and your taste buds won't be overwhelmed with spiciness. Our chile tastes like chile. You know a Mexican restaurant by its chips and salsa. Have a seat, take a few bites and find out why so many regulars say, "you had me at chips and salsa." Yes, it's that good.
