Great small restaurant. Everything was good. I had a spinach chicken and chili strip quesadilla and it was by far the best quesadilla I have ever had. My husband's enchiladas were wonderful, they tasted like they were wrapped in tamales. My kids were even raving about this place saying it was the best ever. Their tortillas must have been homemade,... More

Located in Gazebo Plaza, on Sudderth. Ten of us in the party, all with different orders, all very good at lunch.

Found this gem by searching Trip Advisor. I wanted some good red and green chile sauces. I ordered a chicken enchilada with green and a cheese enchilada with red. Both were excellent. Husband got a chimichanga and beef enchilada, both with red. The red sauce had a bite to it, which is how it should be. Rice and beans were... More

We selected Comal because of TripAdvisor reviews and we were not disappointed. The Chimichanga with green sauce was delicious. Some had the chicken and beef fajitas and reported the same. I did have a flour tortilla that I suspect was made on site; I left wishing I had purchased some for the road. The service was also wonderful. I would... More

Great food and service! The enchiladas are delicious, the salsa is good and the flautas are really yummy! Didn't care for the steak tacos the descriptions does not include onions and peppers mixed in the meat, so I was unable to eat that.

My husband and I loved the chips and salsa. The salsa had that smoky burn in the back of your throat. Great. Food was very good. Service excellent. We went at about noon and had no problem getting a table.

Just ok and she sat us all the way in the back by ourselves, which I did not like. I asked her if there were any specials since it was hatch chili season and she could not answer me. Was very disappointed that there were not any specials and felt that our patronage was not welcomed.

We selected Comal because of the great reviews here and because we wanted sopapillas. We went at 6:00 pm, knowing they close at 7 pm. Salsa was ok but the chips were stale and off flavor. Beef enchilada contained ground beef seasoned with salt only. Rice was oddly flavored and the beans were had a weird thickened texture. Chile rellenos... More

We stopped here for lunch and was sure glad. The enchiladas and fajitas we had were delicious. Service was great considering we arrived after the normal lunch hour.
