We went here for dinner we were told there was a 10 to 15 minute wait for indoors. After a 30-minute wait we were seated in a room where the tables were half empty. After another 15 minutes wait, when no one came, an employee came by and brought us free chips and dips. After waiting yet another 15 minutes... More

It is hard to write a review when nothing is great and nothing is really bad. Taos Magazine might have written an article about this place having good margaritas but the Margarita my husband had was not. The Tangueray & Tonic I had was fine. Not a friendly bartender at all, she was to busy talking to a lady a... More

If you ate here, stop at Holy Cross for psychiatric help. What used to be Penny's Dept Store, or at least a piece of it, is long gone. In its day, it was the very best.

During our stay in May we had gone to the Pueblo for a ceremonial Corn Dance and afterwards were looking for an eatery downtown. FYI "Michael's Kitchen" closes very early after lunch. The only spot was Gorge. Very lovely atmosphere. It was a bit too windy that day to be seated on their balcony overlooking the Plaza. The soup of... More

The food was wonderful and huge portions. I had only appetizers which was enough food for a big dinner. Chicken wings and Deep Fried Green Beans. It was WONDERFUL and the entire meal, including a drink, was under $17. Well worth it.

We had just arrived in Taos and we were hungry...our waiter recommended their soup/stew special and it was delicious and just hit the spot for something light (it was late...mid-afternoon, and we knew we would be going out for dinner).

We both got green chili patty melts. They were huge and cooked perfect. Sweet potato fries and Apple cider Cole slaw. Our waitress was extremely nice. Next time in Taos you should go.

We ate a cup of soup each and the sliders for our dinner. It was delicious. And plenty of food. The combination of things on the sliders were delicious and the soups were very good. And the bill was cheap!

It seems that many restaurants in Taos have avoided getting a liquor license, therefore they offer wine margaritas which are not margaritas. Had to go to visitor's center to find out where to go for real margaritas. Even Texas does better.

The is a new restaurant which replaced Ogilivie's right on the Plaza in Taos. It is a casual restaurant, with a mune that reflect it's SM location, though is by no means "Mexican" completely. WE had a combinations of startes and salads, all of which are excellent; The Bison Sliders were supurb. The balcony overlooking the Plaza is a wonderful place to watch the activity in the Plaza - the only outdoor eating on the Plaza. They have a full bar, and excellent staff who are all very jazzed about being part of this new venture. It is a definite place for a simple but interesting meal.
