But the food was decent as was the value. If you want a Mexican meal, not leave hungry or feel your wallet is lighter and don't mind your surroundings and perhaps a bit of grunge it's probably the best value next to fast food in the valley.

This place came highly recommended. I'm always interested in local dives. This one doesn't look like much, and there's only a few tables in the main dining room. Lots of outside seating when the weather is nice, though. The food was amazing. I had the chili rellenos. They were spot-on! The beans and rice were good, too. Everyone had something... More

Some of the best New Mexican Food in the area. Looks like a dump from the outside. The food and service is great. Try their Chile Rellenos.

The four of us were exploring Taos. Got hungry. Searched. This place got great reviews. We found a parking space. Thinks were looking good! I entered the main entry and couldn't actually enter. Talk about a horrible arrangement/fire hazard. The entry is also the waiting room. Which was busy. Got a table and got the rest of the family. We... More

Honestly, this place looks like a frightening choice for dining from the outside, but reviews were so high that I wanted to try it anyway. The small building with the sign is just one part of the restaurant. They have additional sort of rooms in adjacent buildings. While this seems a bit weird, it works. The food was reasonably priced... More

We got take-out from here one night and this place has no more than 4 tables but the food is fantastic and they are always busy. They have Great Mexican food with a New Mexican flair. And the prices are very reasonable.

Great little place on the edge of town. No parking so plan for that. Nachos were the best ever and the chile rellanos were amazing. Great selection of seafood dishes. Everything is spicy even if it doesn't say so on the menu. Be aware of that if you have little ones or are more of a one pepper person like... More
