Terrible service and mediocre food. My fault for not checking the ratings first. One meal here is one too many!

Nothing fancy, but you get a big breakfast here. Pancakes were huge so don't order many. Eggs were so so, but rest of meal okay. Service was okay - they kept our coffee hot and full cup. Thought the prices were high but that's probably just this area. $30 for breakfast. Our hotel didn't offer breakfast thus the reason we... More

There are two Taos Diner's, one north of Taos center the other south. We ate at Taos Diner II. One of the best breakfast burritos I've had. Mine was with chorizo and green chili sauce. I could have been a glutton and eaten the entire thing, but I intentionally saved some for another day. Obviously there are different cooks for... More

Three of us just happened to walk in. One of us a vegetarian. The food we ordered was the best we had in Taos and the portions were huge. I had to take half of it home with me. The coffee was tasty, organic and fair trade with free refills. The cost was on the lower end. Service was great... More

My family and I came here for lunch around 9 am on a Wednesday morning. My husband ordered an omelette that came with home fries and toast. He was very satisfied with his food. My son ordered the kids breakfast burrito with a bowl of fruit. The breakfast burrito was huge and so delicious! The fruit was fresh tasting and... More

What can I say? This is THE place to go for breakfast in Taos. The friendliest staff on the planet, typical New Mexican fare with Huevos Rancheros, Breakfast Burritos and so on. Say "Hi" to the cute waitress from me when you visit :)

We ate at the Taos Diner on New Year's Day before visiting Taos Pueblo to see the New Years Day Turtle Dance. We had a fantastic breakfast of eggs scrambled with green chiles, potatoes, and homemade biscuits. Plenty big on the plate as well. The place was packed with local patrons. (I must mention that the main photo you have... More

Nice service and a wonderful organic breakfast with large portions. If you want a large filling meal for the slopes or for walking around but with the healthy touch of organic foods the Taos diner is the place to check out. We visited the one across from McDs on the main road through Taos. The fresh orange juice was delicious!... More

Great local breakfast spot! The service is always great, the food and price are equally good as well. I always order something with the home fries, they are THE BEST in town..good old comfort food!

Do you want to great New Mexican breakfast? Then skip Michael's Kitchen and go where the locals eat. Michael's has phenomenal pastries, but they have nothing on Taos diner's breakfast.
