Food is good, drinks are good! People are friendly here, and the music is usually fantastic. Always leave the Cantina with a smile.

My son and I stopped here for drinks several times while we were vacationing in Taos over Christmas. I liked the history. Part of the building is over 400 years old. The service was always excellent, and my margaritas were perfect!

While the atmosphere is typical New Mexican, that's about where it ends. I live in Santa Fe and know what this should be, but isn't. The battered mushrooms and onion rings were good. The queso tasted like it came out of a jar. The tamales were dry and served with salsa?! When I asked for red chile the less-than-friendly waiter... More

Simple menu was perfect and vegetarian-friendly with great service and a perfect, festive ambiance! We got veggie burgers. The margarita seemed a little watery but otherwise a great experience.

We had the tamales and the carne adovada. Both were good portions with nice companion salads or beans/posited. The only problem was the chile did not come with much flavor or heat. It was the bland flavor rather than the lack of heat that was the issue. It's a nice enough place and hopefully they will get a more robust... More

Looking for a slightly out of the way relaxed spot.... I found it in Alley Cantina. I'd been told to try a Green Chili Burger.. I did and glad it was here.. it was delicious. The young lady that served me was delightful.

I'm a young adult but I wouldn't say this is a great place for anyone younger than a teenager. The food was really good and our server was fun to chat with for there weren't that many people in the place at the time we went, which was roughly 4 or 5 in the afternoon. (Too early to watch any...
