We had really good food and service at this place. One person had the fish tacos and another had the stuffed sopapilla. Just the right spice to get us accustomed a little southwestern spice. And the ambiance was very nice, too, with some very realistic murals--ask the staff about them!

This place was recommended by the Owners of The Blue Swallow Motel. Loved the mural inside! Friendly and laid back. We wanted a place to stretch our legs and get a small bite to eat. The nachos were really good and I had the "Blue Swallow" margarita - Yum!

We stopped here on a trip to Arizona for dinner. I enjoyed the tamales with green chile sauce and my sister had a burger with sweet potato fries. Be sure to ask for the chips and salsa and sopaipilla if you choose one of the Mexican entrees(free on request). My tamale was good, although a bit on the spicy side... More

Traveling through Tucumcari we were looking for a decent place to eat lunch. The Pow Wow seemed to be busy which is a good sign. The outside is not impressive but it is quite nice and clean inside. The Road Kill (French Dip) was delicious and was served with crunchy sweet potato fries. My guests had the bean and beef... More

Nice place for dinner or drinks as it is a combo bar/restaurant. The service and prices were nice and the food was good. The sandwich plates are a little small, but the dinner entrees are large with salad bar.

This place was recommended by the owners at the Blue Swallow and they arranged for a free shuttle bus to collect us and drop us back. The food was our first experience of New Mexico so I had so much rouble deciding I had to go for the mix platter. Don't hesitate and do the same. It was truly amazing... More

On a Sunday night, the dinner options in Tucumcari are very limited. Pow Wow restaurant was probably the best choice. The menu offers mostly Mexican-style food and steaks. I would avoid the steaks and stick with the Mexican items. The chips were good; the salsa was out of a jar but spicy. The salad bar is very small so don't... More

Green chili super spicy and sooo good! I had cheese enchiladas with green sauce. Chips and salsa, big thumbs up!

They offer luncheon buffet at a reasonable price, but I had just missed it. They stil honored a lunch hamburger special and it was delicious. The waitress was most accommodating and mad my meal very enjoyable. The bar selection looked good, but too early for Happy Hour. Maybe next time.
