Ok, so I'm a fairly regular diner at Sunset Cafe; it has ups and downs, but I love the homey atmosphere and amazing margaritas and quesadillas will keep me coming back. Dining in Ballston Spa is the great antidote for over-hyped Saratoga Springs, and Sunset adds to that vibe. My SO and I always start with the classic margarita, on... More

My sister in law picked the Sunset cafe for a dinner out recently and we all enjoyed quality quesadillas, sandwiches, and margaritas. Definitely a worthy lunch/dinner spot if you are in the area.

My wife and I were looking for a decent local place for a Saturday lunch while visiting from out of town. We found it all at Sunset Café. Sunset's appearance is below the radar and actually looks quite ordinary. The food, however, is quite extraordinary. Service was prompt and very friendly. We enjoyed local draft beers. She had a buffalo... More

This is a gem in the village of Ballston Spa. They have been doing a good jjob for many years. We had the spinach Quesadilla, and a Buffalo Chicken Quesadilla. Both outstanding. Also the soup of the day, Spicey pulled pork. Abundant serving and really teriffic. Add a good glass of Cabernet, only 5.25. Have good Margaritas as well. The... More

Stopped at Sunset last night with my wife. This was our second trip. Both times we had excellent southwest style meals. Cajun pasta is a winner for me. Nice mix of chicken vegetables and heat. The chili was excellent. It was a bit cold. Our waitress never checked backed with us, so I just chowed. Great flavor, just wished they... More

Three of us had a nice lunch during a recent training at the Cornell Coop. It is within walking distance which is a plus. Large selection of sandwiches and quesadillas. Also, nice dinner menu. Good place for a quick upscale lunch. A few other restaurants also on the same block so if you are with a group you can go... More

Food okay, service very slow. Waited 1 hr for dinner to be served. Cute place though and wait staff nice but just not worth the wait.

This is our regular go-to place when I'm too lazy to cook. Food is good, people are really nice. Prices are decent for the area.
