Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Booked for Sunday Lunch. A warm welcome from our server Ellie. After receiving our drinks we ordered our food, both beef roasts, one with boneless rib and sirloin, the other just sirloin. Both were tender and delicious and served in good time, with a good...sized portion of roast potatoes, roasted veg, cabbage and a large Yorkshire pudding and unlimited gravy. Everything was hot, fresh and gorgeous. Ellie appeared a few times to make sure we were enjoying our meal, but not to the point of being intrusive. As luck would have it we had room for dessert and ordered the trio of desserts and the chocolate bomb, again we could not fault either of them. I would recommend The Woolpack for Sunday lunch and will be returning to sample the rest of the menu. In my opinion, prices are fairly high, but as they say, you get what you pay for and the food quality justifies the cost.More

We spontaneously landed here for dinner while staying in the area. Service and atmosphere were good, but it is worth noting that this is one of several “Innkeeper’s collection “ pubs/hotels in the region. In itself that is not a problem, unless you’re staying at...one of them, ended up at on other for dinner yesterday and are now faced by the self-same menu a third time! In this case - boring and annoying.More

Belated New Year’s Eve review. We had a fab night out at the Woolpack. It was busy - great atmosphere. Really nice friendly servers, good selections on menu - something for everyone. Well paced service. Starters were tasty. We had steak for our main meal...and it was perfectly cooked medium rare and really good portion sizes. The raspberry torte dessert was a good choice. It was a really great start to the New Year celebrations. Our two servers (mother & son) were brilliant so a big shout out to them! We will definitely go back again. 10/10More

Food was fine, service from Kate and Daisy was attentive and they did want to provide a happy visit. The chefs, Billy and Argen , were on form too. All good, though can be noisy. Portions more than adequate. Happy to recommend and will revisit.

Today I went to The Woolpack, the restaurant looked very tidy. The triple chocolate brownie at the Woolpack in Aylesbury was absolutely heavenly! It was rich, gooey, and packed with chocolaty goodness. And I have to say, the cleanliness of the place was top-notch. It...was spotless and tidy, which added to the overall positive experienceMore

I've visited The Woolpack three times in quick succession with differing party sizes and dietary requirements and every time they have got it spot on. The range of menu options is good and the food is delivered quickly. Every dish tastes great and the portion...sizes are decent. Atmosphere is nice and the staff are polite and friendly. I would thoroughly recommend The Woolpack.More
