My husband and I are sushi fanatics, and this place has the freshest fish by far. The mackerel sashimi was raw, so fresh, and the cuts so good, it melted in our mouths. The uni with quail egg nigiri was delicious. And the squid!! You could taste the ocean in every bite! Great service also.

This restaurant is located on Bell Boulevard, a very busy block in Bayside, Queens, NY. Parking can be hectic in this area but my husband and I drive pass at least seven other "Japanese" Sushi restaurant to get to Mickey's. It is far from fancy but Mickey's can easily have been a local family sushi restaurant in Japan and transported... More

Mickey's food is quite tasty: I had udon noodle soup with shrimp tempura and it was quite tasty. The waitress, however, was a bit gruff. The decor in the restaurant is rather modest.

The title says it all. I have been eating sushi for over 40 years and the changes away from traditional to what is available now is very sad. There is only real Japanese food here both cooked and raw. Sorry no Thai or Korean. That's the difference here.

I have been going to Mickey's since I was 5 years old when they opened in 1985 in Forest Hills! They have the most fresh sushi! Mickey, Jenny & the rest of the staff are just wonderful and have become like family over the years! Anything you order here is great! When they moved from Forest HIlls I was so... More

Mickey's is just plain amazing. My husband and I travel 45 minutes from Brooklyn just to eat sushi here. The fish is super fresh. Try the dry fish (kawahaki) and the lily and gary bomb ( not on menu, just ask for it ). Spicy tuna and spicy shrimp rolls are phenomenal. Ask for their home made ponzo sauce instead... More

My wife and I have been going to Mickey's Place for sushi for almost 15 years. When they were located near our home in Forest Hills we would go almost weekly. Then Mickey's rent was raised and he was forced to relocate in Bayside, NY. Naturally since they moved we can't just walk over there anymore. We now save a... More
