We stopped for lunch and spent about $12 per person. This his considerably more than comparable lunches. We had lunch specials and left hungry. The food was ok but 3 people should be able to eat a dam good lunch in Binghamton for $36 better than this. Sorry.

Here is a unique setting for a not fast food restaurant: a former fast food restaurant building. So we tried it for lunch....and actually the name Taste of Europe is sort of misleading as it is more Eastern Continental than broadly European. But that's ok. I've never had borscht in all my years of eating...so I ordered it for lunch... More

They make the best stuffed cabbage I have ever eaten. The Beet salad is an experience of its own. My husband had a chicken dish and was very happy with it. We both liked the pierogies. The piece de resistance was a dessert called Princess cake; it was unusual and fantastic! Even the coffee was great. Definitely will go again... More

Since I was solo, I got a takeout today of the Lunch Platter which consisted to two Holupki and 6 perogies. I am of Eastern European descent and make holupki often but never made pirohi. The holupki were very good and had one in tomato and the other in a mushroom sauce. The only thing lacking was ground meat. There... More

Went here for a late lunch with my wife. They say they have a Ukrainian American menu, but many of the foods are Eastern European. We had the holupki and pierogi (both words are spelled a little different in Polish, Czech, Hungarian, etc.) lunch special which features 2 holupki and six pierogi. Holupki are sometimes called Pig's in a Blanket... More

On a cold day, the Borscht was so wanted, and did not disappoint. It was filled with meat and beets and potatoes, so good, and hot. The Halupki's with Mushroom gravy were delicious. The perogies with sour cream, terrific. All in all a good meal

A realitively new restaurant. Wasn't very busy but the food was good. Had the sampler platter and the options were appetizing.

An easy stop on our way out of Binghamton, we had a delightful lunch. Lovely furnishings and decor, spotless table, helpful, friendly staff. I've had two soups, the lentil and the zooms tuscana and both were great. I ordered the bonoosh because it sounded wonderful and I'd never had this dish. How can you go wrong with polenta, bacon, feta... More

During Restaurant Week we went to Taste of Europe, and had a wonderful meal. The combo's that were offered, we shared, and had left overs. Every thing was well prepared, The Pirogies, the Halupki's , the schnitzel, the roasted potatoes, the hot borscht, even the small garlic knots were well cooked. The service was slow, because there was only 1... More

Having visited Taste of Europe for last year's Restaurant Week, went again today for lunch. Was not disappointed! I had the borscht, pirogies, salad and dessert for a wonderful $10 lunch. My friend's third visit, she had holupki and borscht, salad and dessert. Another friend had never been, she had the sausage soup which she loved, salad and some pirogies... More
