I stop in weekly and usually leave with more than I intended because I can't resist. Breads, cookies, pastries, donuts, strudel are amazing. Cannoli cake was just good. You may pay a little more here but the products are worth it.

We LOVE Brewster Pastry Shop!! It is the only place to go for cakes, pies, cookies, or breads! You have to try their homemade, hand rolled bagels. Awesome! Great taste and texture. They also freeze and defrost very well.

Ok if you are French, or just returned from the weekend in Paris, then maybe you don't want the baguette (yet). But for this area, this is damn good baguette. And a wide selection of other real tasty breads that don't have to live up to some other place's reputation. Hey, this is LOCAVORE , you live here, you buy... More

My go to place for any time a dessert is needed for a business or family gathering. French pastry chef is out of this world! Does beautiful custom work.

Whenever we want something special in the way of pastry, this is where we go locally. The pastry chef has had formal training. We particularly like his Italian pastries. The miniatures are great for sampling a large variety of pastries, not that we need an excuse to try many different treats. The cannolis have a real nice delicate stuffing and the... More

I went here with my husband on our way home from a long day of traveling to doctors in the city and wanted something sweet. I thought a bakery would be a great place to get something fresh and tasty. Boy were we disappointed. The cookies and pastries were the same you would see at the grocery store bakery.....nothing new.....same... More

I think the bread and morning pastry are excellent here, but it is more expensive to shop here than it is to shop in Manhattan.

This is perhaps the best pastry shop in Putnam County. European based, fine use of creams and butter, good bread and cookies. By not opening until 8:00 AM, and closing at 5:00, they make it difficult for working folks to enjoy the product during the week.

An authentic French patisserie. All-butter baking, and from the bagels they make to their pastries, everything is simply the best possible.
