From the outside and knowing it has been in business for 100 plus years, I was expecting a unique offering and the smiling help I had experienced in the 10 stores I had visited on Arthur Ave. The help was straining herself to be attentive with a sour face, she had no idea what an almond cookie was and lead... This was the best cannoli I've ever had. Have tried Veneiro's and Ferrara's, but this one was truly the best. Received a box of cannoli's as a gift so cannot comment on the store, but hope to visit it someday.

The first time I went to this bakery, I loved it! Unfortunately, the next few times I got very old, hard baked goods, which kind of deterred me from going back. Their prices are very reasonable and they do offer a fordham discount!

I had the pistachio gelato and it was wonderful. The place is a family business and you can see everyone takes pride in the operation.

Friendly, fast service with outdoor seating, perfect for a beautiful day to sit outside and watch the passing parade while sipping some delicious iced coffee, cappuccino, and sharing an Italian pastry.

I've been to Italy and enjoyed sipping a cappuccino and having a pastry. When we went to Palombo's cafe on Arthur Avenue it was like being transported back to that cafe in Rome. Great coffees and beautiful pastries. They have tables outside so you can enjoy people watching. Italian is spoken all around you. Worth a visit!

I have now gone twice in three weeks - come in from CT and have to have my cappuccino and dessert. So delicious - the people were so fun - met Mr Palumbo - photographed him - the nicest guy and the best place.

We stopped on Saturday night to have a dessert. My son said the Creme Brulee is very good. The place was crazy busy with peeps at all the tables and in line. It's a bit overwelming trying to place an order when it's that crazy and people are in front of the displays so you have to point at what... More
