Me and my husband few times a week we look on trip advisor for best restaurants in NYC . So far it has never lead us wrong . This past Sunday we went for a late lunch early dinner at tra di noi and need to say that it hands down beats any Italian food restaurant we've had in the... More

Really superb restaurant - old school New York Italian. Not just a neighborhood place, a destination. The Burrata is best in class - creamy and lovely - get it. I had the Chicken Scapariello - one of the best versions of this dish I've ever had - and I've had 'em all. Crispy with the dark meat pieces served on... More

Went to Arthur Avenue today with some friends and decided to have lunch first. Of course we want to Tra Di Noi. We started with their mussels marechiara. The mussels were fresh and tender. Next was the linguine with clams, striped bass marechiara, and the codfish oreganata. The play started getting busy and the waitress was very friendly. The meal... More

Its in the Bronx, so not convenient if you're staying in the city. However, if you're visiting Fordham University, Bronx Zoo or a Yankee game, it's perfect. Appetizers, main dish... all were excellent.

This was my first visit to Tra Di Noi in the Arthur Avenue section of the Bronx. We were there for lunch. Both of my friends had been there before and said the food was great. I really felt like I was in Italy. Our waitress was very helpful and explained all the specials of the day. There was a... More

A step through the door and you will feel like you're suddenly in Italy. The food is rich and flavorful, the menu broad, and the prices moderate. What a great dining experience. Service is a little uneven but pleasant. They have a nice wine selection as well. This place is well worth the stop.

The restaurant we had been waiting to go to was very good. Went with Christopher on a rainy night. Glad it wasn't packed. We ordered pasta fagoli which is different and really good. The only exception was the baked clams. They were too runny and lost its flavor. For dinner chicken scarppiello was very good authentic on the bone. Chris... More

We were a table of six and all of us felt the food was delicious! "Just like your grandparents used to make it." Authentic, flavorful and simple. The service was excellent the whole time; very attentive, knowledgeable and pleasant. Like the neighborhood, the restaurant is full of character and old world charm. It feels like it's been there a hundred... More

I would strongly advise that the waitress and the owner's wife look into getting some customer service training. Most definitely the waitress and the bus person not very patron oriented or responsive. The food was up to its usual caliber but to have a waitress not once to check during the entire meal to see if everything was satisfactory or... More

Great food! Very authentic sauce and even down to the salad. However I can certainly appreciate they want to keep their culture and by the way I love their checker tablecloth. But I don't understand why they don't have an English menu. It can be a disservice to their customers. Plus the wait staff seem serious barely cracked a smile.
