A step through the door and you will feel like you're suddenly in Italy. The food is rich and flavorful, the menu broad, and the prices moderate. What a great dining experience. Service is a little uneven but pleasant. They have a nice wine selection as well. This place is well worth the stop.

The restaurant we had been waiting to go to was very good. Went with Christopher on a rainy night. Glad it wasn't packed. We ordered pasta fagoli which is different and really good. The only exception was the baked clams. They were too runny and lost its flavor. For dinner chicken scarppiello was very good authentic on the bone. Chris... More

We were a table of six and all of us felt the food was delicious! "Just like your grandparents used to make it." Authentic, flavorful and simple. The service was excellent the whole time; very attentive, knowledgeable and pleasant. Like the neighborhood, the restaurant is full of character and old world charm. It feels like it's been there a hundred... More

I would strongly advise that the waitress and the owner's wife look into getting some customer service training. Most definitely the waitress and the bus person not very patron oriented or responsive. The food was up to its usual caliber but to have a waitress not once to check during the entire meal to see if everything was satisfactory or... More

Great food! Very authentic sauce and even down to the salad. However I can certainly appreciate they want to keep their culture and by the way I love their checker tablecloth. But I don't understand why they don't have an English menu. It can be a disservice to their customers. Plus the wait staff seem serious barely cracked a smile.

Been wanting to go here for a while and finally the time came and I was not disappointed. It's a small Bronx restaurant located in Little Italy. We started with mussels marechiara. The sauce was delicious and the mussels were tender. I kept dunkin my fresh bread in the sauce. Delicious! Next was the baked cod with fried potatoes and... More

Place was recommended by some locals, family owned and traditional Italian. Started with the salad and the stuffed artichokes - very, very good. Rigatoni had perfect texture and the sauce was tasty. I had the fish of the day and my partner had the veal with asparagus and mozzarella - both specials on the board and served with family style... More

Visited with cousins on a Friday night. Made a reservation for 8,at7 and the table was ready promptly. This restaurant is a step back in time, not much different then restaurants were 40,50,60 years ago in the area, including friendly family service, good food and great atmosphere. I would recommend a visit.

I've been meaning to eat here forever. Everytime I go to the Arthur Avenue neighborhood I find super places that serve memorable, classic Italian food. This isn't one of them. I really wanted to like this place and on the day we were there, four elderly guys who looked like they came from Corleone, Italy were seated in the window.... More

We spent the day at the botanical gardens and thought it would be good to try something on Arthur Avenue. Some friends recommended Tra Di Noi and we made a reservation. When there are so many good Italian places in the area, you need something special to help you choose. It's either superb food, a creative menu, great ambiance, family... More
