Bostwick's is the perfect summer spot for good foot in an unpretentious settling. The choices are fresh and delicious, the wait staff is friendly and helpful, and service is quick. It is best to time your visit and avoid the crowds. My guests request Bostwick's every time.

Bostwicks because it is already very popular and the more people know about it, the longer the wait may be but, hey, when the food is this good and the atmosphere is so genuinely Hamptons in the summer, what do you expect? Bostwicks rocks! Fish tacos are superb. Crab cakes...ditto. Fried calamari is a great starter. Even the burger (yikes...did... More

We wanted a real Hampton’s lunch and decided on Bostwick’s Chowder House. The restaurant was very busy, and we luckily had a minimal wait. We started with appetizers: Mixed greens, New England Clam Chowder, and Lobster Bisque. For entrees we ordered: a steamed Lobster, and two Lobster Rolls. Food and service were good, complemented by a relaxed environment. I’m glad... More

We arrived on wed without a reservation and got seated in 30 minutes. What made it tolerable and easy to endure was Doreen who is the hostess. It was enjoyable talking with her while she made customers comfortable waiting for their table. She definitely is an asett to this restaurant. After being seated we received very good service from Julie.... More

From the outside, this place looks like it might be fancier than it is: "chowder house" sounds a bit formal . . . but this is actually an old-fashioned clam shack or lobster-roll shack. And that's the a good thing! Think: Plastic cups, clams on the half-shell, fishburgers, etc. There's a much more famous lunch place on Napeague that looks... More

Food is wonderful especially the lobster and clam chowder. Restaurant has great seating outside and staff are very helpful. Only two complaints: First is that the restaurant does not take reservations and there is almost always a wait. Try to go off peak times to get in faster, but even then you may wait. Second minor issue is that they... More

When we're out here, we always make it a point to eat at this restaurant. The scallops are always fresh, perfectly cooked and the accompanying veggies and rice make it a perfect meal. If you can get an outside table, that's a bonus. Everyone we've taken here loves it. The only problem is the plastic utensils.

My wife and I used to go to Bostwick's with our old friends when it was located on Three Mile Harbor. The views were spectacular then. It's new location lacks the view but the food is still outstanding. Lobster Bisque. Clam Chowder. Lobster Fritters and delicious fish, prepared on the old school way. Still crazy after all these years, like... More

Super fun Chowder House with great Baja Fish Tacos! The crab cakes and seafood pasta were a smash as well. I loved the casual, check the box menu and the waitress was nice.
