I came to order takeouts. I got a half of a roasted duck ($11), a half of a scallion oil chicken & 3 cases of braised duck wings. The chicken was tender & juicy. I love the ginger oil sauce along with the chicken. The duck wings were also good & flavorful. They are the perfect snacks when watching tv... More

Around the corner from Hunan House is Foo Kee which my wife and I stumbled on while shopping in Flushing. This time we were not the only non Asians in the full room as another caucasian couple were also dining at this time. Again the real deal, Pigs ears, chicken feet , hog tongue, spicy frog and anything wlse you... More

First time here on 38th Ave off Main Street in the heart of Flushing and we weren't disappointed. Got there by 6 PM and was seated at a nice table for my mother and I. Started with a BBQ duck, you can order a whole, half or a quarter. We ordered a quarter portion and it was of course, meaty,... More

The food was very good but the waitress was rude. When asked for water, she said that she didn't have time. Another waiter brought water after a second request. The waitress brought the wrong fish, de-boned it at the table but delivered it to another table across the restaurant. She later separated our her tip, miscounted the cash and claimed... More

We took both moms here for belated mother'day dinner. We parked our car across street ( very lucky in downtown flushing ). After we settled down, the manager ( black suit with glasses ) came over to take our order. First he tried to sell us lobsters and then the Alaskan king crab ($45 lb ). We declined the offer... Flushing has become the new Chinatown for NYC. We have had several family meals at Foo Kee. It's a favorite. Our most recent visit (just this evening) included lobsters with noodles (an innovation), eggplant and chicken with garlic sauce. The eggplant and chicken were superior. I prefer the more traditional style of lobster. The lobster with noodles had too much... More

This is probably the best Chinese restaurant in Flushing - which makes it one of the best in the entire city, since the restaurants in Flushing are generally recognized as being superior to those in Chinatown. This is Cantonese food, perfectly prepared. We have eaten here perhaps 30 times. We particularly like the barbecued spare ribs, the 3-flavor chow lai... More
