No idea why It's got such rave reviews. The pub is cramped, noisy and the food is average. I certainly would not go out of my way to dine here again. I would give it 5 stars for the staff who were very friendly.

If you see the Steak and Ale Pie on the Specials board you have got to try it. Succulent steak and lovely gravy. The pasty was nice and thin and didn't overwhelm the dish

I'm a returning customer, but had to write a review for the wonderful Valentine's Meal my wife and I had last night. The sharing fish platter was tasty, as was the vegan curry and the Cumberland sausage, topped off nicely with a cherry fudge brownie....More
