It was a dinner to send forth a colleague after her tenure in Gambia. It coincided on the day Nigeria played Croatia during the Worldcup. Nice food with good people. Service was a bit slow but not too bad.

Dear Fisayo A Thank you for the review . We do apologize for the service. It was due to certain persons turning up at a time past the arranged time for dinner and having to wait for them before commencing the service.

First thing I'll do when I next go to Gambia, book in here for the Tuesday Sizzler. Not cheap by Gambian prices but definitely worth it (cheap compared to Europe) The food was absolutely amazing, the fish and prawns were a highlight, my only regret...More

We ate here 5 times in a fortnight, they do a Tandoori sizzler on Tuesday nights, not to be missed, especially if you have a big appetite, as the waiters keep trying to bring you more food for the all inclusive price. If you like...More

I'd heard that this was suppose to be one of the best restaurants in the area and had high hopes. The environment is really nice, especially the garden outside. The food was nothing special to be honest. I mean, it was good but not really...More

The Clay Oven has been open for 24 years, established in 1991 by Vimal Shah. The restaurant has two menu's, a well established Indian menu and a recently well tried Chinese menu. The Clay Oven takes pride in quality and excellence. There is a large dining area with a semi circular bar, and an outdoor dining area on a wooden deck surrounded by a palm garden and bar. All making a great ambience to dine in under the stars. "Our own belief is that a truly fine meal is enjoyed not once but three times - in anticipation, in consumption and in remembrance."
