Close your eyes and channel the Marche aux Pouce - the bistros in the Paris Flea Market feel like the inspiration for Le Gamin Country. My husband and I had a light lunch after actively bidding at the auction house next door. The Gamin crepe was yummy with your selection of fillings. My panini met my exception. And a good... More

Hudson, NY, is a historic mid-Hudson Valley town with vintage curio shops, mid-century modern furniture stores, and Victorian Houses. It also has 27 restaurants and one of our favorites for breakfast or lunch is Le Gamin Country. As the name suggests the food is French, but on the lite side. You might find the setting a bit unconventional with gasoline... More

Always love to bring company here but if you love to sit outside, they have very, very few tables, so you are going to have to wait! I know they are an open air restaurant BUT would love to see AC inside.....So enjoy the menu and it's a good spot to people watch!!!

We ate lunch here after getting a recommendation from the barista in the coffee shop we went to right before. I decided to try the leek and goat cheese crepe. It was fair but I prefer buckwheat crepes and probably would have liked another choice better. I was planning to get a coffee afterwards but the restaurant was busy and... More

Specializing in crepes Gamin is a real find in Hudson, a town full of discovery, food and other. Sweet and savory crepe, ciabatta toasted sandwiches and salads this place is the ideal lunch spot when downtown or walking Warren Street. Service could be improved, but you didn't go to Gamin for fast food. A few tables outside and unique interior... More

A fantastic place for brunch, it's the authentic french details that will charm you here. Where else can you get a nutella crepe in Hudson? More seriously, Le Gamin offers a wide array of french favorites, including an impressive selection of crepes and fanciful desserts that will set you on your way with a smile on your face. If you... Lovely pit stop for a drink or light bite. We had crepes, delicious. Lemonade was freshly made, and the coffee was good. Service was a bit slow, but I think we just need to relax to the pace of Hudson a bit more. Decor is eclectic and adds to the atmosphere. Will be back.

The food is great -- try the Croque Monsieur. But go for lunch when you don't really have anywhere to go in a hurry.
