Great food, quick service, fair prices. A great spot for anyone, whether you're new to Vietnamese food or have enjoyed it many times before.

We've been to Mekong 3 times, each time with friends, and we've all been very happy with the food, and with the very casual atmosphere, good prices and service, each time. The grilled pork spring roll appetizer is easily enough for two people or more, and is delicious. The curries are very good, as are the stir fries, with lots... More

I am not that familiar with Vietnamese food, but I enjoyed everything I tried. Service is great and the decor is pleasant.

This was my first experience of Vietnamese cuisine. Since I had heard that this was the best restaurant in the area for Vietnamese; I had to try it. The restaurant is no longer Mekong as of this month. The restaurant has new owners and is now named Phuong Nam Vietnamese Restaurant. I've alerted TripAdvisor of this change. I started with... More

Terrific food, especially the rice vermicelli and broken rice dishes. The Chargrilled chicken is fabulous. Wish they wouldn't charge extra for adding vegetables like broccoli. Wonderful Vietnamese coffee, nice new owners-- the place is completely consistent, always good, and each new thing I try I like.

I know I could have made two reviews as they were two visits but it seemed a little much as they were both take out and there was just a single entree each time, soooooo.....not trying to work the system and boost my reviews because the food is what is important. I have spent the last two nights in the... More

My son and I were in town for a college tour. Being unfamiliar with the area, I logged onto tripadvisor and found Mekong Restaurant. What a great little find. Although nothing to look at from the outside, the inside was cozy, with about a dozen tables, pleasant decor, soft music. The service was friendly and efficient and the food was... More
