I stopped here after a hike, thinking it looked like a nice place to eat. The food was delicious, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Other than forgetting my hat, I have nothing negative to say. I will be stopping here again when I'm back in the area!

Food was pretty good. Hot chocolate was to die for. All else was, well, okay. Service was slower than molasses pouring out of a maple tree somewhere nearby, for sure.

This rustic cafe serves up great meals, and was a stone's throw from the inn we were staying at, so it couldn't have been better. The dinner entrees weren't cheap, but the lunches and breakfasts were very reasonable. We had the most wonderful chocolate chip cookie ever for the road, right out of the oven!

We ate here at the suggestion of the innkeepers at Bark Eater and were pleasantly surprised by the variety of food. Definitely a local spot. My husband loved his meatloaf and I had a great Cobb salad, but the BEST was the pie. They must have had at least a half dozen and they all sounded delicious. Love this place!

I have been here numerous times with my wife and we always find something interesting and delicious to order. I wish the prices were just a tad more reasonable but I guess that is in line with ingredients that are raised or grown nearby and not shipped in from long distances. If dining at night make sure you are seated... More

We love to go there, early or late! We usually go for the excellent soups and desserts But this time we came out of the trail around 10 am... so around 11 am we were around a very big plate of comfort food! I got french toasts with real maple syrup and they were great. Delicious! and very very good... More

After a day of leaf peeping, we found this quaint restaurant in a beautiful small town. The restaurant is rustic, no reservations accepted, but worth the wait. You can order food to go and sit on the porch in nice weather. Local foods prepared as you wait. Not a place to rush. We enjoyed Hot mulled cider with a touch... More

The waitstaff is amazing. Everyone is friendly and helpful. We had a beer and ordered pie. Nothing spectacular as far as food or beer selection is concerned; however, the cozy nighttime deck seating is very intimate and inviting.

This is a café with surprisingly good food that's been given thought and care. Pay attention to the specials...interesting burgers on home-made bread. They make great baked goods, pies (some unusual like Shaker Lemon) creative muffins (Chocolate/Sugar Beet) and great bread.

Thank trico2
