Felt that the one-hour cruises offered by LGSC and other company wouldn't be long enough. This cruise was just right. Great to see "the other side" - the houses and hotels from the lake rather than the shore. Lots of interesting history given by the captain. Know that if you go during the week, you will be on board with... More

We loved the ride....the crew was helpful, knowledgeable, and made our time out on Lake George even better. The view was amazing.....we have taken many boats trips, but this one tops them....This is a ride we would take again!!

The boat cruise is nice to take in Lake George area scenery. It's definitely not worth extra money for the buffet dinner. The food is mediocre at best, just standard buffet fare without much flavor and not very fresh. Lake George has many lovely area restaurants so save your money to eat elsewhere.

We never tire of cruising Lake George. The beauty of this lake can't be contained by words. The whole Lake George Region is steeped in rich history. The Lac du Saint Sacrement is a very comfortable ship ... rides so smooth you don't even notice when your cruise begins and ends. Great viewing from 3 decks. Variety of themed cruises.... More

The LG steamboat company is an excellent way to be ON Lake George. They have a wide variety of cruises which allows for a variety of budgets. Our favorite for many years had been the dinner cruise on Le Lac du Saint Sacrament (which may or may not be spelled correctly... same for any other ships mentioned here.) The dining... More

This is a great experience for travelers. It is a slow ride, just fast enough to enjoy the views. There are different trips, which lunch and dinner. Food, music, and beautiful views! A must, if you visit Lake George!

The top reason to come to Lake George is the lake. And the steamboat company offers a bunch of different trips on it. I try to mix up which boat I take every year. The Minne-ha-ha is an awesome little trip, and the steam whistle songs add a great twist. The Mohican is cool for trips up the lake to... More

No trip to Lake George is complete w/o a Steamboat ride. Take your pick, each one has it's specialty. Since the 70's we've taken many 'cruises'. Oct.1st, a bus trip included taking the 2hr excursion on the Mohican. Most of the day it had been quite chilly, but the mid-afternoon boat ride was sunny, warmer & wonderful! We enjoyed the... More
