We read about Maggie's Pub and decided we needed to go. Our aunt had passed away recently and her name was Maggie. She didn't disappoint. The hotel is lovely: quiet and peaceful and gorgeously decorated. We went into the bar and sat in front of the fireplace. There was a couch there and several chairs. Then we ordered our cocktails... We just stopped in for a glass of wine to see the place. The hostess greeted us and told us to feel free to look around. Maggie,s pub is down a beautiful staircase. The bartender was very nice and provided a lot of interesting info. The views out to the water is beautiful. There is a locked wine cellar in... More

I took family and a friend to Maggies pub on friday night . The place looked awesome ! We sat at bar while waiting for a table . The bartender knew her stuff . She makes the best drinks but i forgot her name . I recommend the blueberry mojito or the huckleberry 44 vodka drink . They also have... More

High dollar food and average quality. I guess the view carried a premium tax. A grilled cheese sandwich, French fries, caprese salad and one drink tagged me for 80 dollars.

Magical place to have a nice Business lunch. The food was well prepared, and service friendly and subdued. Prepare to enjoy wonderful views and a quiet, relaxing meal.

I only tried the grilled chicken sandwich and it was delicious and fresh. The atmosphere is also very nice. The Lodge describes it as having a variety of board games and puzzles which in fact there is only one of each. However, there is a pool table. Friendly staff.

I've had the pleasure of dining here a few times during my semi-annual business trips. It's a bit more casual than their sister restaurant (The Artisan) in their beautiful resort, the Lake Placid Lodge. It's got a friendly pub atmosphere, and all the food is of high quality. Staff and patrons have always been friendly. The last time we were... More

Enjoyed this very much indeed, staying at the lodge and eating everyday enjoyed good simple fair but good quality and an excellent wine list. Perfect for a simple dinner or lunch in a very funky comfortable atmosphere.

The location and views are 7 stars. The lunch terrace had a few locals and some hotel guests but it felt stuffy and forgotten. The waiter was very kind but not well versed with the menu. The champagne on the sunny terrace was super. My Nicoise salad was mediocre but my husband enjoyed his sandwich.

I haven't been here since 2012, the view is amazing, the lodge beautiful and worth visiting. I went in for lunch and the menu is limited and on the expensive side and the service was not very good. Also 2 out of the 3 public restrooms were out of service.
