Fast service, hot dogs or Cooneys, drinks including beer. Great fast service for families or friends.

Heid's of Liverpool is a landmark restaurant in the Syracuse, NY area. This is because they are known for their excellent hot dogs served always on the freshest buns and with their Heid's mustard and 50's atmosphere. They wouldn't have survived this long if they weren't the best!!

When you go to Heid's, you cannot fail to see you are stepping back in time to a 50's vintage grill. There is seating, both doors and outdoors, but you stand at the counter to order your meal. If your visit happens to be on a Saturday at lunchtime, or well into the afternoon, you could find yourself waiting in... More

I don't know if it's because hoffmans was sold or what but the hot dogs and coneys are smaller. The new england cut hot dog roll was a bit stale ,and the size of the large fries and onion rings is small for the price . The prices are high for a hot dog.I think for that kind of money fries... More

Something's not memorable. The sauerkraut was just terrible when I added them to do dogs. And the flavor of the legendary hot dogs here just is not there. Really disappointed. Just not what it used to be.

We stop every time we are in town. Tried the Italian sausage this time and was not disappointed. Great treat to end our visit.

Classic roadside hot dog stand where the big deal is the Hoffman hot dogs! I'm a huge fan of the White Hots or "Coney" and I've never had them anyplace as good as in CNY. If you're driving through, stop. If your on the thruway you can get in and out in less than 1/2 hour. Definitely worth it.

My husband grew up in Syracuse so this is always a favorite to return to. We have lived in Tampa thirty years. When we come up to visit this is something we love to do. Food is always good. Not a large selection of choices but everything is good. My husband loves the mixed double ( a coney and a... More

We visit Heid's quite often. It has great food at good prices, and fast service. Many people that have moved away from the area always make sure to make time to stop by when visiting, it's a landmark that is remembered. We like to order the double Coney's and fries, along with a birch or ginger beer soda. The additional outside... More
