Dutch Kills was the first location I attempted to find in LIC upon arrival. There is a lit sign well above the entrance: BAR Once found, it is a sweet retreat from the mean street. The ice cubes are artwork in themselves.

As dutch people we wanted to go there (from the hilton garden about a 10min walk). There is only a small blinking white lettered bar sign. Almost decided not to go in because it looked a bit dangerous but by chance a normal couple went...More
This place is fantastic. As a bar the drinks are top notch with an eclectic selection of spirits and a cocktail menu that few places can rival. As a space dark and small, a great place to hang out with a few close friends or...More
This bar is different. Old school, elixir drinks, and a fun atmosphere. The drinks used to be a bit more potent but it is still something to check out. The place is off the beaten path. If you're around, worth checking out.
We both absolutely loved this bar. Decor was totally cool and the cocktails very alcoholic, bar staff were very welcoming and friendly. You can either sit at the bar or they have booths. We chose to sit at the bar. We would definitely go back...More
A going away party for a co-worker brought me to Dutch Kills. It is a true Cocktail Bar. Specialty ice for the various drinks. I had a Ramos Gin Fizz- as good any I have had in New Orleans and better than most!!! Yes it...More
Looks sketchy from the outside but this is no dive bar. Great mixology in a dark speak-easy like place. Very accommodating to a non-drinker inour crowd in making up something nice an non-alcoholic. We were lucky to get a booth, get there early.
Server took forever the bar had water down drinks I however liked the place of business but the bartender seems as if he did like German ppl
Dutch Kills is reminiscent of an old speakeasy from way back in the day. It's marked by a "BAR" neon sign outside and not much else. Once you enter, its very dark but you can still make your way past the tables to the nicely...More
Delicious and thoughtful mixology. Bartenders are knowledgeable and experienced. They're friendly too. Try anything made with mezcal. If food is offered, I would not know. The cocktails are too delicious.
Like I said I dont even know where to start, First time at this place over the weekend and I was in awe, The service, The Quality of the food, drinks and the decor was unreal. its a very dark spot, and from looking at...More
The decor can't be more impressive. All wood, separated in sitting/eating area (booth wood) and the bar. Knick knack of the past complete the ambience - old, wood wall telephone or the jukebox. Opens at 5pm, the bar is already half-full with people sipping cocktails...More
Went for first time as part of a large corporate group. I was quickly and arrogantly told not to approach the bar; I was to 'sit down'. I asked about the beer selection and I was this time TOLD to sit down. Arrogant, rude nasty...More
Snacks were good; we didn't get "real" food but I'm told by the people we were with that it is good. The decor is dark and calm. Good background music, not intrusive. They have a nice list of specialty cocktails but the bartender will do...More
This was my first stop after a long work day out of town. Great atmosphere top notch drinks with a creative edge. If you don't know what you are thirsty for they can tailor a drink to your desires on the spot. Highly recommend this...More
