Very nice. It has a great location, they make fabulous mojitos and serve decent food. Well priced and perfect for people watching.

Nice place near the sea front and the pier (main attraction in Santa Maria). Watching the local football game and the sea while eating a nice pizza and a cold beer :-) what else

I nice place to end yoyr day at the beach. Started the evening with drinks in front of the beach. Enjoyable wathcing atlethes training and a huge meny of drinks. Dinner become pizza, and the menu have a lot of variants. They are also huge...in fish. In the other hand meat-dishes are not a lot. Anyway a very nice restaurant we visit twiceMore

Idelilic location, we chose just for a couple of drinks but after seeing the food being served we stayed for lunch. Service was a bit slow but this was our first day on the island so maybe it’s all part of the ‘No stress’ vibe....Had WiFi and would recommend a visit.More

Stay well away from here don't no how they get any custom at all the boss is dam right rude and horrible do not waste your money we went to the dubliner wich is much nicer food and the owners are nice and go out...of there way to make you feel comfortableMore

This restaurant/bar has the worst attitude and rules I’ve ever come across. Sat in the over 18’s front lounge bar for a cocktail - €17 for 2, which is expensive for Sal - even on the beach. Low season and the only ones sat there...for a good half hour. We were refused a second drink when we requested sparkling water! No wi-fi- only access the menu. The food is average. The attitude of the owner doesn’t fit with the island at all. Rules in a beach bar in Cape Verde ??!!! I’ve been visiting this place for over 12 years and each year it declines. Never again will I spend my money with this arrogant Italian owner.More

We used to visit this place during the previous trip, it was quite tasty! So this time we returned as well - but something bad has occurred to Palm beach: the fish (“of the day, freshly caught”) was hardly eatable, saying nothing about being “fresh”.....the cucumbers seemed to be chewed by someone else before being served to me, the baked potatoes were just unfrozen and tasted like an old shoe, smelled quite the same… the pasta was overcooked. I know it is not high tourist season, but yet not the “trash tourists’” one! I’m giving these 2 starts only remembering the last year visit, as the current one I would rate with minus stars.. worst dinner in the last 5-10 years.More

Went for dinner at about 7pm, after we had walked past it on a previous night. It's all outside but does have canopy's etc. If it's windy, you will feel it, but we were ok. The staff were polite and nice and the food and...wine was excellent. They also had someone playing nice background music on a keyboard (not too loud, just right). We tried to reserve a table in advance, but we were told that there was no need. Obviously, this may change as it gets busier in June, July etc. Taxis are nearly always parked outside. They also have WiFi.More

Highly disappointing place. As a non drinker I wasn’t allowed anything. I kid you not! I had to sit and watch my friend enjoy her drink as they refused to serve me anything without alcohol. They even asked why I don’t drink!! I had one...virgin mojito for the same price as one with alcohol in it, but after that it was full stop. “No coke, no coffee, not even water” is what they said. It’s down right ridiculous!! We were meeting up with more friends but had to go somewhere else because of this. There were free tables, no one waiting so it’s not like they had plenty customers either. It’s a future boycott from us. Sad, it was a great location. Religious and lifestyle discriminating place. Not for pregnant women or people driving.More

Been there 2 times, first time got fish and pizza, second time tuna steak, wery well cooked, red as a ttuna should be. Nice place with beach view

Great ambience. Right on the beach, perfect vacation restaurant. We really enjoyed the pizzas and the tuna tataki was great. Good sized portions! Drinks not super but nice enough. Can recommend this place for a good evening out and a lot of choice on the...menu. Only minus was that the live music (with a great musician) was played on a too high volume.More
