Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I have eaten at this restaurant several times over the past few years, each time always being impressed. This time I thought to tell about their pizzas. Firstly they are thin crust. I have tried several of their offerings, each time generous and delicious with...inventive toppings Today's was the PizzaAiole, while my friend's indulged a vegetarian option. Delightful staff. Wise to phone book. On the church square in central Capestang.More

We went twice this holiday the first visit was absolutely brilliant, the mussel gratin so good I am going to steal the idea. Veal a la creme really good my husband had the milanaise with bolognaise sauce as he does everytime we visit! The coupe...is a very reasonable price, so I had several! the second visit we had the mussels again this time with the Roquefort very tasty! Sadly, the burgers fell short of the mark and were also on the cold side we won't be ordering a burger again. That being said this place is a firm favourite with us. Very friendly helpful front of house lady.More

Friendly owners and staff serving a great selection of seriously good pizzas and pasta and now, if you’re a little homesick, great fish and chips, too. Great place for lunch or dinner, indoors or out, with or without the kids.

Liked it so much we came back another time! Service fantastic, food really good and plentiful. My only gripe would be the tables are quite close together in the courtyard which means if you are averse to smoking it can be a bit uncomfortable when...other diners smoke near you. But all in all a great experience!More

Went here for a late dinner. Had a couple of well-crafted Aperolspritz, and split a very good pizza. Will definitely be back to try some other items on the menu. I would recommend getting a reservation.

Food was great and at a very reasonable price. The waitress was kind and attentive. From the front it doesn’t appear as anything special but sit in the back.

When stopping in Capestang you HAVE to eat here and try the baked Camembert .... it was out of this world and the pizzas were also good and always order a carafe of wine for good value....

We ate here whilst passing through on our boat, and were pleasantly surprised. The pizzas were lovely and good value, the service was goid and the staff were friendly. They don't speak English but we got by with out pigeon French. The garden at the...rear is really nice to sit in.More

Ideal to ‘fill a hole’ with tasty seafood pizza and veal in creamy garlic sauce. Though the courtyard was dominated by a noisy family which spoiled the romance of the place on this particular occasion. Request a seat at the front outside dining area rather...than the confines of the rear veranda in order to have more peaceful al fresco dining. The food is good and reasonable value and we enjoyed our meals. If the chocolate tiramisu is on ‘special’ then have it - it is delicious!More

We came across Le Provence from reviews on Trip Advisor. Lot of pizzas on the menu very well cooked, very thin crust (as they should be!). There are 4 pasta dishes which are also well cooked and good size portions. A range of other meat...and fish dishes are also available with some daily specials. Service was really good and they also take cards which is a bonus!More

Six of us traveled from Malta to enjoy a few days on the Canal. Capestang was one of our stop overs. We found Le Provence right next to the canal on a beautiful evening and sat outside to enjoy a meal in wonderful surroundings. The...food was excellent especially the steaks - perfectly cooked and huge! A good wine selection also. Our waitress was a pleasure and more than capable of handling our jokes.More
