My husband and I hiked the Fira -Oia trail and walked down to Amoudi Bay to eat at Katina. We were given a spot right on the water and it was a perfect spot to relax and watch the sunset. We were starving so ordered...More
Typical waterfront taverna where we have been nicely welcomed. Fresh grilled fish that you choose was indeed very nice. However accompagnying rice was not good at all. They did however offer free icecream and sweet wine (we had not complained).
The scenary is great, with a table at the ocean edge you get a really nice panorama.

Made a reservation a month and a half in advance only to arrive and not be seated where we requested. We timed it to view the sunset, but the outcropping of rocks blocked our view. The waiter was unfriendly and the host lied to us...More

We know good Greek food over the tourist variety, and our Katina experience was top notch. Everything was fresh and simple — delicious 3-4 ingredient dishes were just perfect. We ordered grilled octopus which was tender and nicely charred, smokey eggplant and a grilled tsipoura...More
