I selected somewhere near to where I was staying and was very pleasantly surprised. A nice local pub with good prices, cosy and I had the Sunday roast which I thoroughly enjoyed!! Well impressed.

It has always been The Seacourt Bridge. Built in 1939 it was named after The Seacourt village that was wiped out by the plague. The Seacourt stream (hence the bridge) is now underground bit still comes up in Wytham woods.

Hi Yvonne I'm afraid we don't allow dogs in the pub as we serve a lot of food and are a one room pub. We do however have two gardens that welcome pets and provide drinking water etc . Kindest Regards Tracy Dennell
