The starter (goat's cheese salad) was amazing, as was the main (seafood risotto) but the dessert (creme brulee) was just a bowl of custard with a crunchy topping. The service and ambience were both excellent. What a shame the dessert let it all down.

This lovely little restaurant has bags if character...lead possibly by its Manager whom exhibts immense patience and genuine ability in his willingness to help. The food is good, especially their homemade chowder. Booking is sensible especially on a Sunday.

We were looking for somewhere indoors to take our elderly friends . Being situated in the antique centre was perfect. We only had sandwiches and I had sweet potato fries .. they were the best ever. Service was excellent

Had lunch here today. Selected from the light lunch menu. Bacon,Brie and cranberry panini. Absolutely delicious. Other members of party had steak ciabatta and pastrami melt. They were equally happy with their choices. Relaxed atmosphere and pleasant staff made for an enjoyable afternoon.

This restaurant is always busy and I can see why. Service was efficient and friendly and the food was excellent. Hubby tried the open sandwich which was something a bit different and I chose the toasted steak ciabatta which was very tasty indeed.More
