After driving past McGrath's dozens of time over two decades, but never actually going inside to take a table, we did. Our group of 9 was promptly seated and served (at 6:00 on a Saturday evening, no less). A knowledgeable young man articulated the draft beer selections and returned the goods. Shortly into the meal an accident resulted in a... More

Everything here is just about average - but then again who would come here and expect anything too fancy? The food is classic pub grug, the drinks are pretty cheap, they have a happy hour when the drinks become even cheaper. No need to go out of your way to come here but if you're local or just traveling through... More

They must have regulars because I've not experienced anything here which warrants our returning. Pedestrian room with functional service.

Have been here in the past with family and was never really pleased with the food. I decided that we would try it once more. .. wish I didn't. We arrived at 2:30, our server, Tyler, was pleasant; however after 15 minutes or so I had to ask for bread. It wasn't busy, there were only 5 other people total... More

My husband and I were visiting Pawling to attend a concert. We had dinner at McGrath's prior to the show. The atmosphere is very welcoming, and staff was very friendly. I loved the Americana decor. My husband had a prime rib, and I had salmon. Food was delicious and very reasonable. It was a great start to the evening. We... More

Spent St. Patrick's Day dinner at this Irish pub. Outstanding food and incredible waitstaff. Delighted to find this little gem tucked away on Main Street. Very innovated menu.

This is a true family owned neighborhood restaurant that's great for couples, families, friends getting together. Great menu, the best calamari ever, prime rib night, drink specials. Best of all is the owners and staff. The McGraths treat everyone like family.

The food has improved dramatically. The hamburgers were always good...even when the restaurant got bad, but the pub food is now fresh, flavorful and well priced. The portions are large and filling. We had a brussel sprout salad that was surprisingly good. The short ribs were delicious and fork tender. I will go back again.
