This used to be a great place but it has really gone downhill as a restaurant. It appears to be badly understaffed and very slow, although the staff try hard. The food is mediocre at best and tends to try for trendy rather than quality. Not worth the money.

What a lovely restaurant, inside and out. Ambience is very good, overlooking Lake Champlain and the marina. However, the food was a big, big disappointment. The French onion soup with almost glue-like, with an overabundance of salt. The main course was brought to the table when I was only half way through the soup. Meal was ok. The tiny side... More

Service was wonderful but the taste of the food was not. I ordered the sirloin with crab meat stuffing, the stuffing look like My dogs wet dog food and it tasted horrible. My husband ordered the seafood Alfredo, the taste was so fishy it was Terrible. If you want a good view this is the place to be but not for... More

Cafe Mooney Bay has one of the prettiest views on all of Lake Champlain. We sat outside on the patio on Sunday, August 18th, 2015. The waiter, Morgan, I believe was pleasant, and his attitude was welcoming. The food, don't bother. The menu harks back from 1985; stuffed sole, filet mignon, fettuccini alfredo. Menu options try to please everyone, but... More

Best food on the lake for more reasonable prices than others. Will check into other locations soon but apparently they share a lot do expect a similar experience. Fantastic!!

Nice menu, well priced, friendly staff, right on the marina. And they had bug repellent so you could sit outside!

We had a coupon from Restaurant.com that brought us to this lovely site. We had a table looking into the Marina on a lovely evening. We had their fun mixed drinks that were pretty, delicious and fairly strong. The fish dishes were perfectly cooked and portion sizes were good. Our waiter, Morgan, was charming. Highly recommended

I went to Mooney Bay with my family last Saturday. The service was ok but it ends there, we ordered drinks which took a little time but that didn't bother us because they were fairly busy but we had to return 1 drink because the wrong one was made. We ordered appetizers I had Portobello mushroom with crab, the bottom... More

This is a nice restaurant, in the middle of nowhere. Close to Point Au Roche State Park, it is a good spot to enjoy the end of the day. I came to that restaurant a couple of time, and always enjoyed the daily gourmet specials. I need to get back to try the menu. I have never been disappointed by... More
