Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

3 sandwiches this week. All easy to make. Turkey and bacon on white toast with mayo only. Did not get any of them right. Today on white bread. Day before on a hard roll. Say before that with lettuce and tomato. Great food there but...they are both good at following simple directions or making simple sandwiches.More

I know pastrami is fatty, but 100 percent fat between two pieces of toast is horrible. This is no exaggeration either.

This place has it all. An incredible selection of cold cuts and cheeses ( and not your typical grocery store stuff ) at terrific prices. A vast selection of pantry items from around the world ( super good pickled tomatoes and a mayonnaise that is...heaven). They have homemade lunch specials that change daily and are incredible. This is like a long lost deli from yesteryear - with a great helpful staff.More

Asked for Italian combo got mayo and mustard, everything for oil and vinegar. The liverwurst has nothing but, salt no mustard. The owner when, I complained said he just had some and it was good. He refused to give my moneyback. It's my prerogative when...I told he I was a long time customer and I wouldn't come back. The soda is even stale and where'smy cookie? ! My dog won't eat the no mustard sandwich. Very disappointed!More

Amazing selection of cold cuts and cheeses, all sliced to order all top quality and at better prices than the big guys. They also carry lots of hard to find canned goods. The staff are always terrific, a real gem.

I love JJ's open hot roast beef sandwiches with a side of beets. I am not a huge beet fan - but I love theirs! It has a bit of horseradish and really goes well with the meat - which is roasted by the owner....In fact, all their food is homemade and delicious. JJ's is not a typical grocery store - it has an eclectic, cool selection of tea (try the sour cherry), salamis (try the Hungarian pick), jams (lingonberry), smoked fish (mackerel), and pickled vegetables. The owner is friendly and very knowledgeable about the products. I almost took away a star, because the eat-in area is tiny and I want more foreign hot sauces, but I like the place too much to do that.More

Dropped by Deli on a Wednesday 9am morning to pick up sandwiches for rafting Delaware river. 5 minutes away from were we rented rafts and was very convenient. We ordered 3 Italians and a ham and cheese here. Since there we only one person working...the deli at this time service was a little slow but worth the wait. The heros were huge and portions generous. The italians were fantastic and had some kick with spice mustard i think. All four of us were very happy with the sandwiches. Would definitely go back. Parking was plentiful on street.More

We were quite amazed at this place when we walked in! We were greeted with a "Hello", a smile and "If there is anything we can help you with, please let us know!" The deli meats were very fresh. The golumbki were so big and...very delicious! There is a nice selection of cookies, jams, canned vegetables, pastries and fresh bread. Good prices. We also found Black Current Juice here. Yeah! We will definitely be back.More

When the deli changed hands we were worried that the place would change and become just another sandwich shop. We are pleased to say it is just like it was before. Nice fresh deli meats and home made kielbasi as well as other European favorites....Very good prices also. So glad the new owners have kept it the same.More

We love JJ's Deli! I go there every few weeks for a delicious sandwich or to do some shopping. They have a wonderful variety of deli items-including Irish bacon! They have deli items from-Germany, Russia, Eastern Europe, Ireland & many more. They also have made...to order sandwiches & soups. In addition, they have European grocery items-jams, cereals, cookies, refrigerator section (Perogies etc.), fresh breads & pastries.More
