Headed here thinking it would be like the Temple Bar in Dublin but it's not really like it. Was a Friday so I had the Fish sandwich which was excellent. Filet was half the size of the full dinner but was it enough - the roll was fresh and soft. Guinness was good. It could get a bit loud with... More

The Temple Bar is first and foremost a bar BUT with great food. Decided to try it out having spent a wee bit of time in Irish bars. It is a small place with seating at the bar or at tables. We sat near the fireplace and shortly menus arrived and an drink order was placed. Each had a Guinness... More

It was around 6:30 on a Saturday night and we were going to get a beer at Victoire, but bar was too crowded and we didn't want to stand. We'd never been to the Temple Bar (in Dublin, yes; but not in Rochester). We looked in the window and there were seats at the bar. The first thing that struck... More

I was pretty surprised, the food was pretty good. I didn't expect it, the bar is really not my type of hangout - it's mostly karaoke and they have their regulars. The lighting could be better it's hard to read the menu. But, I would definitely have to say if you come, try the food, it's pretty good!!

This is pub style food and setting, but it is more a bar (full) than a restaurant. There are few tables 6-10, although you can sit at the bar too. For food, the serve the typical bar/pub food menu of sandwiches, salads, burgers and wraps. They do have daily specials – I was there for the Friday fish fry. The... More

I will give a positive nod to the service and sandwiches, but the venue needs updating. I don't think much has been done concerning the decor for at least 10 years. The downtown location is good--they just need to spruce the place up.

We stopped here for a quick bite on a Friday evening. It was a very nice little neighborhood bar. The service was quick and the server was pleasant. They had a limited menu; but that was no surprise since it is a small bar. It was what we expected. I was quite happy with the sausage appetizer. Due to the... More
