For upstate the Italian food was great! Server was very nice and the hostess as well. Food was excellent nice view of the lake and inside the restaurant was beautiful.

My husband and I took my mother out to dinner this past Monday night. First, we stood in the doorway for a few minutes before the hostess appeared and chatted with the staff while we waited, which were very friendly. There were two other tables with patrons. After being seated, we sat for quite some time until the waitress appeared... More

The worst Italian restaurant ever. Marinara or Meat Sauce burned, Chicken Marsala the worst ever. Alfredo no taste.Calamari was terrible no taste. Will never go there. The only good food is there wraps at lunch time.

I had the Chicken Florentine and was happy with it. Well cooked and seasoned. Good sized portions, you won't go home hungry. Our waiter was average, never told us about the specials, we overhead another waiter at the next table rattling them off after we ordered. We didn't have to wait too long for our food. The atmosphere was very... More

We went to this restaurant on our first night in Saranac Lake and had a lovely meal and great service. We liked it so much we went back a second night. We were seated immediately and then ignored for almost half an hour - no menus, water - nothing. As we were rising to leave, a waitress noted that we... More

I am usually all about the food. Service does count, but not as much as flavor. The restaurant seemed fairly busy on this evening, but not overwhelmingly so. I found the decor extremely cliched, and the food uninspired. I ordered the lasagne, usually a safe bet. It reminded me of Chef boyardee. There was nothing about this place that would... More

We ate here on a Saturday night. We liked it but we had a long wait for our salads and then for our entrees. They needed another server as there were too many tables for just 2 servers. The servers were pleasant and the food was good.

Had been in town a few days and after driving last Nonna Fina several times I really thought it would be worth a try for dinner. Unfortunately neither the food or the service live up to its exterior appearance. I had the Veal Saltimbocca, which was average, at best. Service was on the lower side of mediocre.

Great food, nice ambiance, friendly staff. Ate here two times on a recent trip to Saranac Lake. The portions are quite large. Dined outdoors the first night which was lovely. The second night was cooler so we ate inside. Delicious fresh baked bread.

We were excited to try this restaurant after a local endorsed it. The restaurant itself was very nicely appointed. We sat outside, but a look around the dining room indoors showed a very lovely interior. But the food was merely average at best. The bread that came with our salad seemed like it went from the freezer to the oven... More
