Our family is a mixture of omnivores and vegans who like to drink margaritas. We have been fans of Bombers in Albany since before they expanded upstairs into a more normal restaurant. The food, people, waitstaff are always fun if not exceptionally creative. Sometimes really good, sometimes not so much, one's experience depends on who is in the kitchen and... More

We made a quick pit stop at Bombers when dropping off our student at Union College. The service was great. The food came out quickly and the price was very reasonable. Stop in when on your birthday and get a mega margarita for $5. If you are really hungry try the taco salad, very filling.

Quite honestly the best no frills burrito i have ever had. Next time we want to try to get a seat upstairs and get table service.

Bombers is a unique Mexican restaurant in downtown Schenectady across from Proctors Theater. It was started by a Union College alum and has become a popular site. There is an eating area for a quick lunch downstairs, with a bar and sit- down area upstairs. The food is hot and tasty, with a variety of Mexican choices. I particularly like... More

Grabbed dinner here togo. Staff was extremely friendly. Environment was nice - although empty at the time. Food (I think a pork nachos and a few beef tacos) wasn't spectacular. I ordered too much, but ended up leaving most of it uneaten.

ate downstairs after making a quick stop downtown. Food was good, but they messed up a fairly simple order and it took awhile to arrive. Perhaps service is better in the upstairs bar restaurant. Fine place to grab a burrito.

I have frequented both the Schenectady and Albany, Lark St locations for many years! Amazing margaritas and I loooove the buffalo chicken wrap and disco fries! My go-to meal every time I'm there. All my friends just love the pulled pork...and the wings are just so delish!!! One thing I love about Bombers is that it's consistent -- the food... More

Excellent food with very good portion size. Prices were good for the quality and amount of food received. Well worth the visit.

We stopped in before a Saturday matinee at Proctors Theater. The place was somewhat empty (it was 1:45pm). I ordered a veggie burrito with brown rice and my companion ordered a Southern fried catfish burrito bowl. My burrito was very big and tasty. Her bowl was done right. The price was a little bit high, but it was much more... More

I was unimpressed by the atmosphere and the service. I got Taco's and they were bland and not very good.
