First things first, once you arrive here at the area surrounding the restaurant it is absolutely beautiful. A marina, the water, a small park, quaint historic buildings and homes, it really is very pretty. The restaurant is in a very unassuming door in the front...More

First time here, but obviously a tradition for the locals. Enjoyed the Duck Mirabelle-- breast was moist and delicious. Others at the table loved the octopus, seared tuna and burger. Live music was subtle, although echoing in the lounge area could be a little loud...More

I had the chickpea fries which were ok and my husband had the crab cake that tasted sour - I had the lamb chops that came with two different fried cakes that were burnt on one side and mushy on the other the chops were...More

The Tavern has a Rustic feel. The prices are higher than a "tavern" should be because Mirabelle is more of a higher quality dining. The service for dinner was poor. The kid didn't know what things were on the menu. For a place that serves...More

Love the old world room and the bar sliders are the best on LI. Service is wonderful too! This is a great local place and they have lovely mellow music on Saturdays. The cozy fireplaces makes it feels so homey.

This was a favorite place under different ownership some years back. I have been back several times and it keeps getting more and more disappointing. The food is expensive and just not good. The service is overdone. The portions are average, but the taste is...More

For years Mirabelle used to be one of our favorite restaurants so we were expecting another terrific meal. Unfortunately this was not the case- from the very average tomato/red pepper soup to the dry homemade whoppie pies- nothing was superb! Snapper dish was only ok...More

I was here recently for lunch because my daughter, a doctor at the local hospital, couldn't get away at any other time. And it was her birthday. I was told to ask for the table in front of the fireplace and I did when I...More

The food was first-rate, but what really impressed was the scotch collection at the bar. They have the extremes (Dalwhinnie to Laphroag), but everything in-between (including Auchentoshan, which is a rare find in a bar). The food was a bit on the pricey side, which...More
