Next to ferry , nice place for having lunch with sea view. All kinds of pasta are really good. Prices are average for that kind of place.

We went to this place as it was recommended by friends who visited it a couple of years ago. I personally do not understand the hype about Freddie Mercury as there only a few old faded posters. The service is slow and not very attentive.

This restaurant is right on the shore and the prices reflect the fact they would like you to pay for the view. The food is good but we definitely had better in Stone Town. The view of the beach is nice if there is a breeze but it is more of a fishing strip than a swimming or iconic Zanzibar... More

Nice enough bar just on the beach. Views are ok but not amazing as quite a bit of the view has the port and regular boats. Service was good but the menu is fairly basic and feels very westernized... burgers, pizza, garlic break. Worth popping into for lunch but not sure I'd recommend it beyond that

we headed there for a few drinks on NYE. ended up having some fish tacos and baby octopus soup, yum! just by the sea, a short walk from the House of Wonders - great atmosphere, friendly staff. and Freddie all around :)

During our last visit to Zanzibar our hotel was past Marcury's heading for the port, and we made the decision that we would never walk past without going in for a beer. That tradition continued on this trip. Its standard pub fare with friendly staff, the beers are cold, the wines reasonable, the pizzas and other food we tried were... More

A highly recommended stop for a relaxing drink and good food. The menu, I feel suits everyone's taste from pizzas, curries, seafood or just a light snack. The seating is such that you can sit at a table or on bar stools, either way you are overlooking the beach and boats which can be most entertaining.

We wanted to hangout at night so we checked out Mercury bar since it was next door to our hotel. It seemed very laid back and not much happening there. We had to leave because it just did not have the vibe we were looking for after leaving the night food market. You can enjoy the view of the sea... More

Went to mercury's for a quick bite to eat , and while the food took quite a while to arrive it was worth it! The pizza was the best I've had in Africa and it was a really nice view from the restaurant. An added bonus is being able to order alcohol there since most of the restaurants in Stone... More

Went here after house of spice. Great atmosphere overlooking the port and the beach. Good music. Food is an Indonesian fusion cuisine, which is quite special by Zanzibar standards as they usually just keep to the grilled fish, spices and curries. Highly recommend if you want a local feel but in a civilized, quiet environment.
