We only had a coffee and some drinks at the bar and cannot comment on the restaurant and the rooms. The coffee house is in the very heart of Stone Town and the atomosphere is very relaxed and nice.

This is a great spot and very popular with tourists. The coffee is excellent and the service from the staff is very good indeed. I was suffering from an upset stomach and the waitress recommended a strong lemongrass tea and ginger with honey. My wife had a coffee and and scroll and was impressed. Its a great spot and you... After 6 weeks over landing from Cape Town it had been hard to find a good cup of coffee. This place had it all! Lovely atmosphere and decor, very pleasant staff, great coffee. The waitress could remember an order the length of her arm (even with a couple of changes thrown in - very impressed... should have gotten her name!... More

Ok so I haven't tried all the coffee in Zanzibar but I'm going out on a limb saying this was the best. Traditional long mac, enjoyed on a cushioned chair under a fan with a view of the laneway. Very nice.

Walking into this spot and you immediately realize why it's number 1 on the TripAdvisor. The food was wickedly delicious and the staff friendly, albeit slow. It wasn't too packed when I walked in but by sandwich still took a bit of time to be ready. They ought to start accepting cards for payment though, for obvious reasons. The food... More

This place is a gem. I'm scared after we leave Stone Town we will be very disappointed in the espresso or lack thereof on the rest of the island! The staff were attentive and friendly. They created some of the most amazing latte art we've ever seen. The espresso was never bitter, the milk never burnt. I enjoyed the latte... More

A small place which we found tricky to find due to Lonely Planets incorrect map! However, it serves a great cup of coffee and a wide selection of cakes. The cake we had was fantastic - just wished we'd shared! :-)
