Restaurant is central to St. Emilion, with a good size dining space in a cellar. A good choice if you are looking for more space and comfortable dining. For lunch the menu was modern French, I had Seabass with ratatouille and citron veloute, nicely done with a light touch on the lemon. Extensive wine list as expected for a St.... More

Recommended by a local , and best bit of the day . Full of locals . Can see why . Both my wife and I ate the foie gras then the veal chop . Left feeling like we had overdone things for a lunchtime and had to walk about the village for sometime to ease the guilt . If you're... More

Very atmospheric. Good food and a large wine selection. Great service. Excellent location and one of the restaurants in Saint Emilion which we keep returning to.

The restaurant is located in the heart of the St. Emilion village. The dining room is in the cellar...a very nice setting. We had lunch here and all of us had the fixed price option. The food was very excellent. The price was 29E for the lunch and portions were a bit small.

A nice place to have a lunch with friends. The food is good but the portions are very small. The meniu they have for 29 euros is decent for a teenager or a lady but rather small for an adult man. A meal for a kid - smashed potatoes with chopped beef steak cost 12 euros.

Here are the pluses - the fish dishes were very good as was the steak tartare and salads. Our server suggested several reasonable wines that were fine. Ambiance OK and the air conditioning was welcomed on a hot August day. The major disappointment was the rib of beef for two. The more you chewed the drier it got in your... More

The food was reasonable. The location was rather cold since the restaurant is housed in a cellar with no natural light. There is no 'house wine' so you have to buy quite expensive wine if you wish to drink with your meal.

We enjoyed this restaurant, within 2 min of our lodgings at Hotel Austin Logis Des Remparts at the top of the hill on D122 in St. Emulion. Interesting and enjoyable dinner selections Reasonably priced, 4 dinners WITHERSPOON a Bolla of rose about 90€. Would return to eat there again.

Terrific restaurant and wonderful waiters. You feel so French sitting outside under a huge tree looking at the 11C church and walls and having local wine and food really well cooked.
