We ate here quite often during our 2 week stay at the Nimar in Afandou. The waitress always told us of the latest Greek dish which were all fantastic. I think my favourite meal was the "wedding meal" this consisted of the biggest piece of slow cooked beef I have ever eaten. Great value for money and sitting overlooking the... More

We first visited this restaurant back in 2001 on our first visit to Rhodes. We discovered this little gem in Afandou before we had got married and had children. We have returned on 3 separate holidays to Rhodes and visited this family run business each time and never been disappointed. Each visit the family of 3 generations have been superb... More

One of the high end restaurants in Afandou, prices are higher but it is reflected in the quality of the food. Vacilly and his sister run this place. Always get a warm welcome. Lovely spacious outside seating, good menu. The giouvetsi is to die for.

The food is good and the menu varied. The service is friendly and the staff are helpful too. We have eaten here a few times and have not been disappointed yet. I would recommend it.

A lovely little restaurant combining friendly service, great food and local atmosphere. The place suited us perfectly as it is just off the main tourist route, so was quiet whilst combining enough local atmosphere for us to enjoy . The food was mostly a combination of local Greek dishes and Italian cuisine which was well cooked and presented. Service was... More

The "Wedding dish" was the best dish i ate in Afandou. Absolutely worth a try. The staff was friendly and the road outside gave us much fun stuff to watch.

I ate here a couple of times on a recent trip to Afandou and found this place to be one of the best in town. Excellent food, reasonable prices, good attentive service without being pushy. I would definitely recommend Bon Viveur.

This was the worst meal we had in Afandou and the most expensive. One of the main courses was almost laughable, a child could have prepared better. When we complained, the waiter just shrugged his shoulders and said, that is how we serve food here. Avoid this restaurant, there are many better places to eat in the village.

We visited this establishment following OK reviews from fellow residents in our hotel & having eaten at 10 other restaurants in Afandou (reviews to follow on these meals). We ordered three main courses, two Greek & one pasta. The two Greek meals were passable but the pasta meal was appalling. Luke-warm cooked penne with pieces of salmon but no sauce.... More
