Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Memorable. A great wee place that offers excellent food and atmosphere. We had a great welcome and our lunch was delicious. Don't miss this if you are on Bryher.

Amazing crab sandwich, reasonable prices, service and view and they serve Offshore pilsner on tap! Wish we'd found it earlier.

Good for coffee and cake or a stronger drink. Close to the quay when you arrive, or just before you leave.

Great food and reasonable price (for the Isles of Scilly). We had fish and chips and a burger. All very good. The staff were were excellent. Friendly and attentive. It was busy so booking in the evening is advisable. We also called in for lunch...on another day. Again the food was great and thanks to the warm weather we sat out in the outdoor patio area. Definitely recommend Fraggle.More

Unfortunately I was very disappointed with the fish and chips at Fraggle Rock tonight. £27 for 2 takeaway portions is very expensive! The portion was very small, the chips like cheap supermarket ones and some rather undercooked. The fish was clearly fresh, but batter very...undercooked, thick and stodgy.More

Sorry you were disappointed I think it is obvious from the picture that you had eaten a goodly portion of your 8oz of fish and the batter looks perfectly crisp. I remember you sitting in the garden quite clearly as we were debating whether it...More

We ate at Fraggle several times during our weeks stay and each time we were suitably impressed. Fish and chip night really does have to be experienced as neither of us have ever eaten fish and chips so good. On the other three nights we...ate, we were treated to fabulous home cooked food served in a really lovely ambience with great views over the Tresco channel. Service - great and value for money - top draw. No trip to Bryher is complete without an evening in Fraggle. We will be visiting again in 2023.More

I have been coming to this bar for years and wouldn’t miss visiting. Had the fish chowder for lunch and it was excellent. The staff are friendly and efficient and the setting is fine with a nice outside seating area. What made me write this...review was the fact I had just read a couple of poor reviews of Fraggle and wanted to put the record straight. My advice is get there early if you want lunch and book if you want an evening meal . This is a Scilly institution which is an asset to Bryher and a must visit spot when walking the island . Don’t miss it.More
